The following quotes are taken from TrustPower's Consent application to the Otago Regional Council. "To disturb the bed of various water bodies located throughout the Mahinerangi Wind Farm site, during the erection of bridges and culverts, if required, which are placed to enable access within the Mahinerangi Wind Farm, in accordance with Rule 13.5.3.1 (discretionary activity). To temporarily divert water, namely stormwater runoff, around fill disposal areas which are to be located at the head of gullies throughout the Mahinerangi Wind Farm site, during construction of the facility, in accordance with Rule 12.3.4.1 (discretionary activity); and To temporarily divert water in order to erect bridges and/or culverts, if required, over various water bodies located throughout the Mahinerangi Wind Farm site, to enable access within the Mahinerangi Wind Farm, in accordance with Rule 12.3.4.1 (discretionary activity)."
